2019 Fall Flag and Tackle Information and Important Dates
Kindergarten and 1st-2nd Graders play flag (8-on-8). This is a fast moving game, simulating what tackle will be like in the upcoming seasons. Players will be introduced to the rules and skills associated with the game of football. The season is 8-10 games, depending on playoffs. Games are held on Saturdays against other teams from communities like Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, TrophyClub, Lantana and Argyle. Registration for the flag season has been reduced to $175 for the 2019 season.

3rd grade plays modified tackle. This is a developmental modification on a smaller field, with fewer players to assist the kids in learning the game and getting used to wearing the equipment.

4th through 6th Graders play Tackle (11-on-11). Players will continue to learn the rules and skills associated with football, and will also be taught the appropriate ways to make contact and tackle other players. All coaches are trained on proper tackling fundamentals and procedures and safety is the number one focus during practice and games. There are weight limits in each grade for ball carriers and a minimum number of plays that each player will participate within each game. The season is 8-10 games, depending on playoffs. Typically half of the games are at home in Coppell, and the others are spread across Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, TropyClub, Argyle and Lantana. Registration for the tackle season is $285.
