Community Game

CYFA Community Game

The CYFA hosts a Community Game in the offseason to bring people together and celebrate our community. Players from CHS Varsity are invited to play alongside CYFA players in a friendly noncontact event.

Community Game

There will be 3 games played.

CYFA v CYFA
Varsity v Varsity
Varsity/CYFA v Varsity/CYFA

Rules will be outlined at the event. Primarily friendly touch football with a lot of fun.

Fee

Registration $50 per participant.

To ensure the safety of all participants, CYFA players are limited to 30 registrants first come first serve.

Community Skills

Community will be able to participate in a Punt, Pass, Kick contest. Skills will be measured independently with scores combined.

Divisions

Community will be split into 4 divisions:

K/2 - Kindergarten thru 2nd grade
3/4 - 3rd and 4th grade
5/6 - 5th and 6th grade
Senior - 7th grade thru Adult

Skills

Players will get 3 chances to perform their best at each skill.

Punt
- K/2 - after the roll
- All others - distance by air
Pass
Kick

Fee

Non-refundable Registration $25 per participant. Registration available up to day of event.

About Us

Coppell Youth Football Association (CYFA) is a competitive youth football program open to boys and girls from Kindergarten through 6th grade that live in Coppell, attend a CISD school or live in 75063, 75019 or 75039 zip codes. The CYFA partners with the North Texas Football League to play organized games against other surrounding North Texas premiere youth football associations to provide a premiere youth football experience.

Across each of our seasons and activities, the CYFA focuses on life lessons and to strengthen community. Win or lose, the true intent is to get these boys and girls loving football while teaching them lifelong lessons of teamwork, leadership and respect for each other and their community.

Community Skills

Community skills consists of 3 skill contests: Punt, Pass and Kick.

Equipment: No equipment needed

Schedule: Skill contests will happen between the Community games.

Cost to Register: Non-refundable registration fees are $25 per participant.

Age groups for contest:

Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade
3rd & 4th Grade
5th & 6th Grade
Senior (7th and up) All are welcome. Parents, family and friends are welcome to participate.

2025 Community Game

About Us

Community Game

CYFA hosts a community event including CYFA players and families to play together with CHS Varsity players and families.

There will be 3 games played:

Varsity v Varsity
CYFA v CYFA
Varsity/CYFA v Varsity/CYFA

The games are played as non-contact where players can show their athleticism around passing, catching and running the ball. A ball carrier is "down" when they are touched by a defender.

Kids will need shorts, cleats and a mouth guard to play. Although we are not requiring a USA Football approved soft helmet we do not discourage kids from wearing one. It's is up to each family to decide.

Equipment: Kids will need cleats with plastic football treads and a mouth guard (or two) to participate in the season. Each player will receive a game day t-shirt. Although we do not require soft helmets to play we don't discourage families from buying one if it is needed. We don't anticipate a collision but accidents can happen like in all activities. It's up to each family to decide.

Cost to Register: Registration fees are $50 per CYFA player. Registration fees include one game day shirt.
